This was my Yule tarot spread last night. Thank you, @Chrissyreadit for the Yule book you sent, bc that was the spread we used. Our friend gifted us each with this gorgeous deck. It was a lovely, magical night to celebrate Winter Solstice!

To welcome in the longest night, I took a walk by the river at sunset. It was a grey day with lots of bare trees, but I found it quite beautiful. I took the poem with me that @Deblovestoread sent in her card, To Know the Dark by Wendell Berry. It was all quite lovely, and I look forward to more of this gentler way of celebrating the season in years to come. #MidWinterSolace

Love the books. I want to read the Covenant Of Steel trilogy now i have the first two books. Perfect to read it in 2024. You recommended Moon Called to read it in winter. Let‘s try this winter. I already used one inciense stick 😌and the inciense holder is beautiful 🤩

Some ideas for anyone planning and preparing to celebrate Yule. In Case it is hard to read: Prepare a Yule altar, perform an abundance ritual, go for a walk in nature, decorate a yule tree, hold a yule feast, bake gingerbread, do a sun welcoming ritual, embrace snow magic, do a tarot card spread, wear yule colors, forage for pinecones, perform a house cleaning, start a new project, Burn sage or pine incense, #midwintersolaceyule

I failed to take pictures of the box (the post office was crazy yesterday) but I sent out my #YuleSwap package yesterday and it should arrive by Dec. 15th. I had to print out my #JolabokaflodSwap postage at home this morning bc the machine didn‘t accept the address, but it‘s on its way too! @BookwormAHN @wanderinglynn @MaleficentBookDragon
