My kiddo and i went to the library, got a couple christmas books. Then i trimmed our pine tree out front and made a wreath for my door and a swag for above my tv. I dried the oranges for it also. ❤️

This was my Yule tarot spread last night. Thank you, @Chrissyreadit for the Yule book you sent, bc that was the spread we used. Our friend gifted us each with this gorgeous deck. It was a lovely, magical night to celebrate Winter Solstice!

To welcome in the longest night, I took a walk by the river at sunset. It was a grey day with lots of bare trees, but I found it quite beautiful. I took the poem with me that @Deblovestoread sent in her card, To Know the Dark by Wendell Berry. It was all quite lovely, and I look forward to more of this gentler way of celebrating the season in years to come. #MidWinterSolace

Love the books. I want to read the Covenant Of Steel trilogy now i have the first two books. Perfect to read it in 2024. You recommended Moon Called to read it in winter. Let‘s try this winter. I already used one inciense stick 😌and the inciense holder is beautiful 🤩
