I first encountered the Peru version.

📚💫This had good vibes woven into the text, or there has been a spell of optimism cast upon this book, or something because this was absolutely positively delightful 📚💝.
Every time I came to read more of this wacky book, I was smiling extra and my mood was extra uplifted. I loved how the psychic ways were written, and loved every character, and loved the wackiness 💝💝💝.

Just before Halloween, over-the-air ABC showed the movie Hocus Pocus Two. We really liked it 🎬💝.
To my surprise, it was completely different from the book!
Which one I liked more 📚🤔🎬 is difficult to say...
Neither is perfectly good as part one, yet I enjoyed both continuations.

Can't Spell Treason Without Tea by Rebecca Thorne reignited my love for Dragons 🐲💝.
Except, I can't find any dragons among my books! I must have them packed in storage where books (both read and unread) from my younger years have been stashed away.
Although 🤔, my dragon obsession from years ago may have been focused on movie dragons. Less for the dragons and more for the gorgeous men (knights) who were usually cast in such movies 😍😂.

My mom raised me to believe. It was never about real VS fictional. It was about the freedom to believe in the fantastic and all the wonders of fantasy without restrictions.
Even with the boogieman, I was never told that the boogieman didn't exist...my mom told me “how not to show fear, to be brave and the boogieman would have no power to taunt.“ Or my mom would gave me something “mystical“ to repeal the bully 🪄😉💝.

I have not read many novelizations, yet this is the best written one that I have come across.
Novelizations can seem impersonal. Events of the story more reported...told instead of shown. Even my Batman Begins book felt this way in some parts.
A.W. Jantha did an exquisite job taking Hocus Pocus from movie to book. Beautifully written and given respect on the page. There is true feeling weaved into the storyline all the way through.
