Today is Dia De Los Muertos, Day Of The Dead, All Souls Day.
A Celebration when our loved ones who have journeyed on into the afterlife come to gather with their livings.
Ghosts and Spirits can visit us any day of they year, but Dia De Los Muertos is like a reunion.
This is a gathering of ghosts...children, family members, friends, ancestors, our animal babies, all of our loved ones.
To all Littens who celebrate, cheers to Magical Nostalgia.
This book was a cozy read. A perfectly light, Halloween storyline, which I believe is young adult.
Finished on Halloween night.
This story combines mystery with the supernatural. A bit slow going, yet interesting enough to keep me reading.

Is it possible for a movie to become scarier with time?!?
Fri. Night Movie, 2021 Witch Hunt with Gideon Adlon.
4th time watching...well, 3rd time. I bailed out early (Halloween season 2024).
Now, in our current political climate, I found this, all too realistically, terrifying.
It's incredibly good. Slow going, but well done.
Highly recommend if you're able to handle this kind of storyline during these chaotic times we all find ourselves.

I know this history. I am familiar with the tragedies and struggles highlighted in this book...yet, it was still a difficult read.
Read this last night, during a rainstorm. I fell right into the beautifully drawn pages. Nearly cried twice, but took brief pauses from the book to calm myself.
This is to the point. Nothing over done. No unnecessary details.

pick📚I had mistakenly believed that this book held a collection of stories inspired by my Ancestral World. What frightened my ancestors and what has seeped from my Ancestral World into modern times.
This had some of what I expected, but it's mostly a mixed bag.
Nonetheless, this Indigenous anthology was really good.
