A sweet second chance/fake dating Hanukkah story. Also it‘s narrated by Andrew Eiden, one of my fave narrators. The female narrator is okay, not my fave as she‘s a little nasally.

I don‘t think this one was something special, but it was really sweet, and I can see the story appealing to and being educational for kids as young as 3 or 4. There‘s even an appendix that lays out how each of the values of Kwanza is played out in the story, and then challenges kids to find more examples. #WinterGames2021 #TeamGameSleighers @StayCurious

One of the best books on Kwanza I‘ve seen. Definitely recommend.

I like this book, to be honest, It‘s hard for me to understand. There is very little written in the US about Kwanzaa and It is something I would like to explore more. This was a nice starting place, but That may be because of my lack of knowledge, I don't know better.

This is a beautifully illustrated book, and I really enjoyed the way the story is written. It's crafted so that all 7 of the principles of Kwanzaa are reflected in it's themes. It was a fun read. #Kwanzaa #Holiday
