For the #AutumnPlease! photo challenge today, I went in a little different direction. When thinking about #CandleFlame, I thought of the song "Candle in the Wind," and tonight I remembered I have the perfect image for that. I had the pleasure of seeing Elton John on his last tour and snapped this image of him.

#CandleFlame brought to mind one of my favourite books by one of my favourite authors. Maeve Binchy really knew how to tell a compelling yarn, a real shame she is no longer with us. Taken too young!

Had to use this one for #AutumnPlease prompt for #CandleFlame. This follows a young teen who lives in a small desert town where everyone gets one wish, and that wish always comes true. What would you wish for?
This is one of those cheesy, predictable, maudlin teen books full of unlikable characters...but somehow I still loved reading it.
