A day late with my #litchaturday question... this is an Op-Ed card to tease out opinions & favourites. I don‘t watch a lot of adaptations but my fav adaptation is the 1995 BBC Pride & Prejudice and my least favourite is probably... the Kiera Knightly P&P 🤪

Okay, your turn... what‘s your fav adaptation?

This week‘s #litchaturday is a Memoirs of a Book Lover card, for sharing book-related memories & milestones. I loved reading as a kid and I remember falling in love with the Anne of Green Gables books. I read them in 5th grade but haven‘t revisited them as an adult. A few years ago, I got a gorgeous new set of them so I want to revisit them again soon.

llwheeler I loved so many books as a kid, but of the ones I reread most often as a kid (like 10+ times at least), I haven't yet reread any of them as an adult. I think they'd stand up though - I hope! The Anne series, Laura Ingalls Wilder series, Narnia series, Enchanted Forest Chronicles (Wrede), Ella Enchanted... 6y

My #litchaturday answer! This is my physical TBR. I have a lot of unread ebooks and audios - I keep track of everything on a spreadsheet (year it went on the pile, format) and it gives me great joy to delete a title off it. The three most recent additions to the pile are The Music Shop, Local Girl Missing and The Little Book of Hygge and I‘m looking forward to all three!

Bklover You are so organized! I am impressed!! 👍 6y
janeycanuck @Bklover I think the term you are looking for is “anal retentive” 🤪 6y
Bklover 😂😂whatever works!! I‘ve thought many times about making a spreadsheet for my books but so far it hasn‘t happened! 6y

Inaugural #litchaturday card! This is a Reader‘s Way card, asking about you, as a reader. Do you have a TBR pile? And follow up - how do you keep track of your queue? What are three books on your list?

llwheeler This is a fun idea! My shelves are by genre and author, not read/tbr, so no literal pile or shelf for me. I do track what i buy and what i read on paper lists, but mostly my tbr is just by memory. 6y
janeycanuck @llwheeler Impressive! if it‘s not staring me in the face, I‘ll forget about it 😛 6y
llwheeler @janeycanuck Lol, well I do spend a large amount of time staring at my shelves 🤓 6y

Hey Littens - I got a copy of @bookriot ‘s #LitChat a few months ago and I think it would be fun to post one every Saturday morning for people to ponder and post about. I‘ll post a card using the tag #litchaturday and will be looking forward to your answers!

Valeka Fun!!! 6y
