This book starts exceptionally well (aside from the binary gender assumptions): “This is a book by a grown-ass woman written for other grown-ass women. This is a book for women who expect to be taken seriously and for men who take grown women seriously. This is a book for women who know shit is fucked up.” SING IT, PROFESSOR COOPER. #essays
Weaponxgirl I loved this book! 6y
suzisteffen @Weaponxgirl of COURSE you‘ve read it! Lol. #readingtwins 6y
Weaponxgirl @suzisteffen 😂 I often feel the same way about what you‘ve read. Should we start submitting each other our reading lists for the month before we start? 6y

suzisteffen @Weaponxgirl I actually do have a nonfiction plan for the year! This month I‘ll be listening to The Warmth of Other Suns and reading this (quoted) book of essays. Hmmmm more tk! 6y
Weaponxgirl 😂😂 I‘m hoping to get to the warmth of other suns this month too! A biography I put a reserve on came in the other day though so I need to get to that first as other people have reserves on it too. Oh and I need to finish Marianna faithfull memoir. I also do a loose plan each month and try to get to certain books in that period. 6y
suzisteffen @Weaponxgirl Ha! I only read library books in odd months (January, March, May, etc.) so that I‘ll try to make myself read books I already own in the even months. This entails some finagling with library due dates and reservations (and I make exceptions for up to 4 books per month), but generally speaking, it works for me to make those plans. I‘ll post more future plans when I look at my list! #nonfictionspreadsheet 6y
