pickWhen I saw setting of this book I immediately wanted to read. I grew up & attended school in Oklahoma & yet knew nothing about the Tulsa Race Massacre. It's only in the last few years that I learned about it, mostly from a display at my Library.
I like how the author brought the community of Greenwood to life. Showing what was lost but also including a sweet first love story. Recommending for my Book Club.
