Finally beginning this. Bought novel at last year‘s college reunion weekend—John Daniel is a fellow alumnus. Thought I best read it before this year‘s reunion weekend. Intrigued as I also grew up in the Oregon coast range too. And in my 20s was involved in efforts to halt the logging of the last big trees.
