#currentlyreading the last book I got from my library before it closed. The writing is definitely up a notch from my last cozy, and I do enjoy an antagonistic cat, but I‘m not thrilled with the characterization of the only trans character so far. I‘m not done, so it might get better, but I‘m disappointed. Are #queercozys a thing/where can I find some? I‘d love not to be jolted out of a narrative by internalized transphobia/homophobia.
xicanti I‘ve only read one of the Jane Lawless mysteries by Ellen Hart, but I was impressed with how it situated the lesbian protagonist within her wider queer community. The series is pretty long, so it could be worth seeing if your library‘s got any of them as ebooks. 4y
