pickAn absolute gem of a book! Author/illustrator Susan Branch & her husband spent two months touring the English countryside, and this is her diary from that trip. Her writing style is warm and friendly, and her watercolor illustrations are beautiful. Armchair travel at its very best! But now, I want to duplicate this trip in its entirety (although I‘m not sure I could swing the two-months-away-from-home part.)
