A solid final book in the Hundred Oaks series. It was refreshingly sex-positive and worked to not only normalize female teen sexual desire but also the fact that everyone has relationships in their own time. In tackling these issues, though, it started to feel a bit like an after-school special. Fans of the series will be happy, especially with the epilogue.

Breathe, Annie, Breathe remains my favorite HO book.

Second manga of the night. Also kind of a dud. I picked it up because I was a pretty big fan of Vampire Knight for a while so I thought I'd try another vampire manga. Not much happened. *shrugs* #trc2017

Apparently I have a thing for assassins right now. This is my first manga in a LONG time. I can't even remember the last one I read. I enjoyed it but it took me longer than it should have to get through it and I don't think I'm going to move onto volume 2 so it's almost a so-so. Still, I'm glad I dipped my toe back into manga, even if I find the endless series frustrating. #trc2017
