This book is centred on Toronto Island. There are two narratives - a historical fiction piece about two girls who meet and fall in love on a roller coaster, and a contemporary story of a woman dealing with the death of her wife. It was sweet and compelling and readable. I love stories set on the Island. I have some issues with the ending but will put them in the comments with a spoiler alert. #queerbooks
Bibliogeekery Re Bette: can we please be more creative than to keep using the traffic lesbian tropes? Seriously, too predictable! Too easy! #weneednewlesbiannarrarives 8y
Bibliogeekery I meant "tragic" not traffic. Autocorrect! 8y
