By far my favorite book I read in 2016. All too often are we in situations where we do not question ourselves and others, we just "go with the flow." Wonderful coming of age novel, and there is definitely a message for teens and adults alike.

I can't even describe how much I loved this book! Incest? Yup, but I have a habit at not looking at what the book is about before reading it, and so glad I did that for this one. Not quite sure I would have been so excited to pick it up if I had.

Tended to be a little cringey at times, as well as predictable. Overall, easy and fun read.

Honestly, wasn't AT ALL what I was expecting, but was so good! Regardless of the main character's horrible decision making skills.

Fantastic YA book, engaging my most reluctant male readers. The book is told from the point of view from a boy who doesn't quite think he fits in in his "Rez." He takes a leap of faith, and "abandons" his tribe as well as his best, in seeking for a better life. Incredibly relatable.

What an unexpected story about how each and every person is carrying their own burdens, along with others', as well as how we may know more about someone else than we think.
