Ta-Nehisi Coates brings the Black Panther down a dark path, where questions of power, might, and right versus rights are asked. All the Panthers strength cannot save him as his people start to question him.

This is not the normal super hero story. It is a fantastic story about a king attempting to hold his kingdom together against internal and external threats. It is also incredibly challenging and it is worth it.

Joe Hill knows how to use the fantastic to bring out the humanity in his characters. Truly a great book that shines a light on our frailties as well as the goodness inside us.
