And now we‘re here, the foam-tipped waves nibbling at our bare toes. A reminder that no matter what damage we do - to ourselves, to each other, to the world - life can still surprise us with its depth of possibility.

I discovered this book while searching for a different book at the library but I‘m so glad I discovered it. Not only do I love the genre but the story pulled me in from the beginning and there were a few twists that even I didn‘t expect (and I‘m usually good at predicting endings). I can‘t wait to read the next one and continue connecting with the characters I‘m already so attached to.
