Seven Types of Ambiguity | Elliot Perlman
Pickpick

Loved this book; have read it twice. Yes, it has shortcomings, but the story(ies) continue(s) to stick in my mind.

MrsMalaprop Me too. Did you see there is an ABC dramatisation of it to air soon? 7y
BookaholicAnon No! I had no idea. Thanks for the tip, I'll watch for it now. Same title, is it? Seems to me this might be hard to carry off in the TV medium. 7y

Pickpick

Quite different from her other two books. Both Secret History and The Goldfinch have male protagonists and are told in the first person. This one, one the other hand, has a female protagonist and is told in the third person. All the female characters here are fascinating, and I miss their presence in the other books.

Little Friend | Donna Tartt

I‘ve read all (three) of Donna Tartt's books, and to me, this one is the best one, and certainly the most misunderstood.
