pickThe outsiders is based of a 14 year old boy named pony boy. He thinks of himself as different from the rest kinda like an outsider.He has to brothers and his parents recently lost there lives in a car accident. The oldest one looks over the rest, with the boys being greasers conflict happens against the socks.
Brockkendall Later on getting jumped by the socs a fight occurs and with the help of Pony‘s friend Johnny he stabs a soc looking to drown Pony in the fountain saving Pony‘s life. 4y
Brockkendall Cars are a common motif throughout this novel with the socs having much more power over the greasers along with having more money as well. You can tell by reading the novel it was usual for socs to pull up in cars before jumping someone who dare cross there path. 4y
Brockkendall I would recommend this book to teens who love a good action packed novel along with an aspect of suspense 4y
