My own book just hit Litsy ... one of those little-big moments. I'm gonna go ahead & rate it 😜

The Persimmon Tree is a wonderful, albeit weird as hell at times, love story. The hero is likable, the war scenes shocking yet fascinating. The driving romance has elements that are so odd & yet despite it all there's somehow still an innocence to it. This book made me want to be a writer!

I loved this book. It was a slow burn at first but then everything shifted remarkably on the ocean. Great story telling often deals with highly improbable events ... By the end, Pi made me WANT to believe it was true.

Great work, the detail in the illustrations is fantastic. Took me time to get into the writing style. Very creative.
