I love books set in foreign countries and focusing on different cultural and religious traditions. This one spanned generations of the same family. A very interesting read.

I‘ve been an Anne Rice fan for decades. This book is one that I‘ve reached for frequently and it‘s in tatters. My books are my friends and this is one of my besties.

Wish I had loved it! I wish it had been twice as long. The characters were interesting.
