Loved the world building in this one!

This book had all the outward signs of a book I would have enjoyed reading, but halfway through I realized I cared more about the supporting cast than the heroine. Not enough meaningful conflict for my tastes, but Cass does a thorough job of world building and is able to end with enough of a cliff hanger to tempt me to read book two of the series.
