Monica and Jonathan‘s story is so complex and addictive! I was as obsessed with their romance as they are with each other.

Staked is a great addition to the Iron Druid Chronicles. It wraps up a few things as a next-to-the-last-book in a series should but still leaves some meat on the bone for us to chew in the last installment. The story is told through three POVs, Atticus, Owen and Granuaile just like the previous book, Shattered.

Staked delivered some action, humor and a touch of sadness. Then gives us an ending with hopefulness for the future.

Steamy novella but didn't really move the series plot alone. You could skip it and be fine.

Nice to see how Gideon and Savannah got together. Hillary Huber does a great job with the narration.
