Pickpick

I only read the first novella because I was really only interested in “Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption” but the book and movie are actually really similar! There are a few differences that I think are for the better but it was a very pleasant, quick read. One of my favorite stories due to its theme of hope and Andy‘s Job/Joseph mentality. Top 5 movie and a good novella.

Pickpick

Took me nearly 11 months to finish it, but last week I finished the journey of Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov. Very interesting and very complete. The physical pain it causes Raskolnikov is both intriguing and creative. Good read but I wish it didn‘t take me a year.

My grandmother's Agatha Christie collection--all 79 of em. It's pretty cool seeing how books she read decades ago are still being read by the same age groups.

daf_fields They are so good for low intensity, easy reads! 8y

I love Orwell's ideas so much. The connections between society during the start of the Cold War and now are becoming so evident
