This is the best book I have read this year! I think it will be on my all time favorites list. It is a wonderful story that addresses some very important issues. I fell in love with the characters and I found it to be a beautiful, power, and touching tale.

I really wanted to love this book based on the description. It just fell short for me. I can't really put my finger on why though. I liked it but I didn't feel that it reached its full potential.
