I was cranking along through books but stalled out to go away for a weekend race with friends so not as many books the past two weeks as I‘d anticipated. #bookreport #weeklyforecast And yes, I‘m a day late again. 😂

Going through the tagged fairly slowly. Keeping on task with buddy reads. And just started the other three current reads. Concentrating is currently a bit of a challenge. Having a plan visualized is a big help.

What are your reading plans for the week?

cariashley Beautyland is next for me too - my second to last #tob25 read! I was going to do it in print, how‘s the audio? 4d
Lesliereadsalot Really like Beautyland and I have From Dust to Stardust on my shelf coming up soon. 4d
Deblovestoread @cariashley I'm enjoying the audio, but I don't think it's enhanced in a way that listening would be better than reading. 1d

I am so excited to get to the next Oz book and the second Princess Swap story!

Butterfinger I think my copy of Ozma as a child had the same cover. 4d
BookmarkTavern @Butterfinger These paperbacks were originally my mother‘s! ❤️ 4d

Last week, I finished Weyward, and read:
- 144 pages of Sea of Tranquility;
- 75 pages of Cley
- 108 pages of Small Worlds
- 212 pages of Book Lovers
- 92 pages of The Bonfire of the Vanities.

This week, I will probably finish Sea of Tranquility and Book Lovers, and aim for at least:
- 21 pages of Bonfire;
- 38 pages of Cley
- 56 pages of Small Worlds

And maybe start a new book.

I am reading George for the #ToB25. So far so good. On audio I am listening to The Miniaturist, which is set in my city. That‘s always nice. The tagged will be my next read. I‘ve been wanting to read more Highsmith ever since Mr Ripley.

sarahbarnes Happy reading! I can‘t quite bring myself to read George…. 5d
BarbaraBB @sarahbarnes Thanks. So far it‘s an easy read and rather amusing imo. But I am only a hundred pages in 5d

If I actually read as planned, I‘ll finish a book from my #readyourebooks list, my library hold, my #ThematicCozies (also my #DoubleSpin) & my #ReadOrDonate books. Plus stay up to date with buddy reads for #NoPlaceLikeHolmes , #LittensLoveRomance & #SUNDAYBUDDYREAD

I am about to start Poor Deer of which I‘ve heard so many good things. The tagged one is a classic Japanese murder mystery. I‘ve been curious about that one!

squirrelbrain I hope you like Poor Deer as much as I did. 🤞 2w
sarahbarnes Omg! I‘m so excited for you! 2w
