Somehow despite a ton of tragic circumstances, she manages to still be an optimist about friendships and relationships. The extreme honesty and candor are really refreshing since in current “society“ people shy away from awkwardness and realness. Actually embracing vulnerability and being able to talk about the hard stuff is something everyone could benefit from, and I think she demonstrated that in a really funny, heartbreaking & endearing way.

This book arrived tonight and I can‘t wait to read it! I also feel that it‘s very important to point out the similarities between my dog Thor and Jenny Slate‘s dog Reggie. Thor is also little, weird and missing a few teeth but he‘s my hero ♥️
