I FINALLY picked up books 2 and 3 in the Magician trilogy. I cannot WAIT to binge!

I just cracked the spine on this tonight! Love this Saint so much: a true gentle soul.

I'm only several chapters in but it's the real-life Downton Abbey!!! Lady Almina's husband is THE Lord Carnavron from the opening of King Tut's tomb. "She was a wife, a Society hostess. She was a triumph." Loving this story so far!

Reread this book over the last couple days. I forgot how wonderful Danny & Reuven's friendship is & how complex their relationship is within the confines of their religion. "You can listen to silence... It talks. And I can hear it."
