Irene is the first of a trilogy. I've read the first two, Irene and Alex, and have Camille on hand. These psycho-murder mysteries are incredibly explicit so please be aware before purchasing. That said, the cast of recurring characters are interesting and believe it or not, somewhat entertaining.

This was a departure from my usual Scandanavian psycho murder mysteries (although it is in the same region). I truly enjoyed the character Ove. The poor guy just wants to accomplish ONE thing but his pesky neighbors keep interrupting him. Looking forward to reading more by Backman
