I love spy novels, and Daniel Silva in particular. This briskly paced novel, which I hadn't read before, offered great escape. There's a lot of moral ambiguity in his novels. In this one the antagonists and protagonists were more clearly drawn.

This crime novel is part of a series, but it stood well alone. The protagonists were interesting and flawed, but not so flawed I couldn't root for them. The ending surprised me and I learned something about an industry I didn't know much about. A good read!
