This is a great look inside the meritocracy of Universities. Tom Wolfe does a great job of keeping the reader compelled. I didn't want to put the book down!

This is I beautifully written. Part ghost story, part drama, part mystery. The tenderness of the men, each of them very nurturing, makes these characters refreshing to read. I love the descriptions of the scenenery. I'd highly recommend.

I like a book with more detail but it's a quick, exciting, read. It speaks to an audience who have experienced NDE (near death exp) or audiences who have had paranormal experiences after losing a loved one. At times the places described seem like halucinations but the seriousness of the book is represented by the historical figures who have a thing to say about the afterlife. Its interesting for the stories! This book will resonate with believers.
