Hag-Seed | Margaret Atwood

Reviving a childhood tradition & preparing for a trip by getting a book I won't let myself open until I'm on the plane. Beyond excited for a new Atwood!

I can't say I loved the Sookie Stackhouse books I read, BUT I'm delighted by this signed book from Charlaine Harris's other series that Jason brought back from Florida with him.

Pickpick

#TBT to last summer, when I read The House of Mirth, the first book in a long while that actually made me cry. Wharton is a master at upper crust stories of repression, and telling the story of what goes unsaid.

I swear I won't use this to spam everyone with books I'm working on, but I'm particularly excited about Melville in Love, which comes out June 7. And thrilled to see it covered in the WSJ's Summer Book Extravaganza! Check this one out if you want an engrossing literary & historical summer read.

Making my way slowly through this one on my tablet. It's dense, surreal, weird, and totally enjoyable.
