Currently listening. It really is a slippery slope...

A wonderful read, but saddening at the same time. It is overwhelming that no matter how things may change, they always stay the same. A read that is as necessary today as when the essays were originally written. Looking forward to watching the documentary tonight.

A must read. The perspective of three different women and the aftermath of WWII in their lives and the lives of their children. At what point do strength of character and moral certainty cross the line to cruelty?

I loved this book. It was a step out of the real world into a place of magic and adventure. I was sad to see the book end. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

Loved this book. The author did a lovely job with the layers of nuance and complexity in our society's consistent struggle with racism. This book was an excellent book club pick, and I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to have some deep and meaningful conversations. A definite must read.

Absolutely loved it! I read it in one afternoon. The narrator's skipping from story to story might bother some, but my brain works that way so it was a perfect Sunday read for me!
