This is the textbook of Financial Peace University and a must read for anyone looking to get their financial house in order. Dave is unapologetically Christian in his thinking, but the content can be applied to anyone‘s life. He is a heavyweight in the field of personal finance... disagree on the details if you must, but the framework is rock solid.

I‘m glad that I finally got around to reading The Apology. It is a relatively easy read, but has some heavyweight ideas... ideas like the truly wise man is the one who knows he knows nothing and that the unexamined life is not worth living. The circumstances surrounding the arguments was pretty clear from the text, but if you‘re not familiar you may want to read a bit on the trial and execution of Socrates for context.
