I loved this book so much! Everyone needs to read this book. This book taught me so much about their personalities and intelligence. I had no idea how smart animals are and how much emotion they have.

I gave this book two stars. I'm so disappointed in this book. I just didn't like it. I hated almost all of the characters and the story line just didn't seem to have a point. The ending was okay, but other than that I really didn't like this book.

I gave this book four stars. I liked the story a lot, it was a great multi-layer mystery. I enjoyed the format the story was set up in, the different points of view. However it failed to hold an emotional grip on me. Other than that it was a great book.

I recommend to anyone who enjoys mysteries.

I am always eager to learn more about the environment so I love the message this book gives. However I didn't like how completely one sided this book was, if you didn't know much about environmental activism you might be skeptical after reading this book since there was only one side presented.

Although the book took a bit of time to get exciting I ended up loving it. The story was very well put together and the message was beautiful. I enjoyed how it showed the complex race issues we are dealing with today.
