The book started really good but at some point it went flat and it was like waiting for something that never arrives! At least that's the feeling I'm left with after finishing the book

I'm supposed to read a book by an author with my initials for a reading challenge, and this is the only book I could find.
I found only few reviews on it and they were mostly good.
Has anyone read it? What are your thoughts?
I just read the Arabic translation of this book (Identity) and I'm left with a huge question mark: what on earth have I just read??
I didn't like it at all! Felt like forced philosophy! I didn't get the identity issue or the conflict he was trying to present. I don't know if the translation has failed to pass the point he was trying to make but to me it was just words pretending to be real philosophy
I finally got "The Book Thief" :)
I read so many good reviews about it and I hope it stands up to the expectations ???
Just finished "Shutter island" and I loved every moment reading it!
Psychiatry is my passion so I was really dragged into the book and you hold your breath until the last page!
I certainly will be looking for other books by this author
Just finished it! It started really well but I'm having mixed feelings about the ending! I think it's a good book but I need to process it before I decide how much I like it
