Really good story but the writing was shocking! How this book ever passed a copy editor, I do not know! Also had quite an unsatisfactory ending.

I found this book slow to get into but when I got about a quarter of the way through, I started to enjoy it - especially the mishmash of present day and flashbacks. However, a plot twist appeared which I felt wasn't really necessary. All in all, it was ok but not necessarily a book I'd read again.
