Yet another copy of the writer's best friend. My third copy and the first book in my, must read for writers series.

Entered into the library of congress in 1871, this has to be one of the first, "These characters are fictional and not based on any living person." declarations. I love it.

Book 2 of my reading challenge is complete. For some reason I did not enjoy this book as much as I once did. While it was still a good read, I was left a bit disappointed.

This book is even more enjoyable when read as an adult. It is full of beautiful descriptions and bits of wisdom. A definite re-read.

After having just finished, and loving, The Grizzly King I am now on to book two of my 2017 reading challenge. A book which was once banned, hello Catcher in the Rye! A wonderful reread for book 2/26.

This was a great read, also very appropriate with the US elections going on. The author and illustrator did an excellent job of getting somewhat complex themes across in a very simple and memorable way. Great job.

This book grabs you and pulls you in for a very intense ride. This is a must read for everyone.

Every once in a while you find a book that grabs a part of your heart and mind and lives there for the rest of your life. This book does just that, you need to read it.

I am making my way through this book. It is eye opening, lovely, and horrible all at the same time. It is a difficult read, but well worth it. The format of broken up stories makes everything that much more impactful.

Like new shoes make a small child run faster, I'm sure my new banned books mug will help me write better. It lists banned books when hot and redacts some of the text when cold. Plus my new banned books matches, for scale.

About to dive into this book, I needed to be mentally prepared for it. I will post a review when done.

This book has been in my shelf since I was a child and will always be there. It is still one of, if not my favourite book.

It feels very odd to see your name on a book in a store window, but I love it!
