There is one chapter, 23, the full throat of christian virtue which gives very insightful thoughts of our socio-political lack of awareness and historical discombobulation of what it means to be a global citizen. A chapter, i believe all should read and contemplate.

so-soA very white story of growing up underprivileged. Gives little or no recognition to how his whiteness played into his success and tries to sell the Horatio Alger myth to contemporary society. I saw a lot of similarities in his story and mine but I feel it lacks a broad view of American life and the politics of power.
