For me, this book was amazing. It is one I purchase over and over to give to people I know. It is also one of my favorites to donate at book drives.

I adore Charlie Parker. Connolly is lyrical and atmospheric. This series is consistently top notch. Dark and brooding with moralistic choices and a sense of loyalty to the reader as well as the characters.
