This was a very good book, but it left me feeling disgusted. Disgusted with the people who failed to properly prepare a disaster plan. Disgusted with the people who made terrible decisions during a disaster while knowing they had better options. And utterly disturbed that not a thing was learned or changed.

I usually love stuff from Marjane Satrapi, but this just didn't hold my interest like her other graphic novels have.

While making a mental list of things to do to repair the damage done to our broken political system, I found myself having micro-panic attacks about what must be a great many things already in motion that we are not yet aware of.
