Court of Silver Flames | Sarah J Maas

Mehso-so

A Court of Silver Flames follows Nesta on her journey of overcoming trauma from her haunting past. Nesta must mend her relationship with herself and with her loved ones, all whilst undertaking a dangerous mission. Along the way, she and Cassian (her love interest) fight to find forgiveness and love for each other. If you enjoy young adult fantasies such as Throne of Glass, or The Cruel Prince, you would enjoy A Court of Silver Flames. (1)

ZariaCrump A Court of Silver Flames (ACOSF) is told from a third-person limited point of view. ACOSF is told through the perspectives of Nesta and Cassian, switching back and forth between them; this reveals to the reader what both characters are thinking. In this perspective, the narrator describes the story through Nesta and Cassian using the pronouns she and he. (edited) 2y

Pickpick

Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness, follows Todd Hewitt, a 12-year-old boy on the run from his dystopian town, a place where men are plagued by the persistent noise of each other's thoughts. On his journey, Todd meets an unexpected friend, and together they learn to survive in this unprecedented world. I would highly recommend this novel to those who enjoy dystopias and science fiction; It is definitely a page-turner right off the bat. (1)

ZariaCrump (2) A theme present in the story is the loss of Innocence, as Todd experiences the harsh reality of growing up. He must very quickly learn to be independent, as well as take care of those around him. 2y
