Aleph | Paulo Coelho

So I just completed the Aleph and I really don't know how to comprehend it. It's my 3rd book of Coelho's and I loved the previous ones but not this. With the description of the book, I expected something more on faith and spirituality which the 1st part of book is, but then it shifts to past lifes and I was lost.I wonder if it's because this book was too early for me or just that it may not be as exceptional as the others🤷🏻‍♀️. Any thoughts?

“How many millions of Malayalis live in the Gulf? How many millions have lived and returned to the homeland! But how many of them have really experienced the severity of the desert?“
These words just echoed in my mind even after I finished the book. This book shows the lesser known side of the Gulf life. The dreams, hopes, grief and pain of all who migrated from their homeland for green pastures.

As I keep reading this, it's bringing a whole new perspective. I spent minutes in between reading, thinking about what's said in here. Loving this book!!

Mehso-so

An average thriller, the story and plot is quite odd but the author tries to bring a few social issues into the story. The climax is worth the long read. But the story is confusing because the narrator and the time of narration changes often and I had to flip the pages behind to get along. Other than that its a good thriller! Give it a try of you are in a mood for some thrillers!
I would give it 4⭐ out of 5.

No doubt, a MUST READ for everyone atleast once in their lifetime. The book offers a lot of quotes to live by and each person surely has one. Out of which my favorite one is, " Life will be a party for you, a grand festival, because life is the moment we are living right now. "
Not to mention the universal favorite ?
"When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it."

Certainly a controversial book, which was I read it. I haven't read much of thriller novels, but this is one of the best thriller novel. Considering it to be a work of fiction, I enjoyed reading it. It has a lot of controversial facts, but I read this as a thriller fiction novel. At the same time while considering it to be a non fiction, this book disappoints me. Anyhow it's worth a read. #litsy
