I think my brain wasn't ready for this. I liked some of the stories but the rest of them left huge question mark above my head. At one point I even thought "Was this guy on drugs while he was writing this?". Too many metaphors for my taste. Regardless, I'll read another book by Murakami.

We have finally met, Mr. Murakami.
So far, so good.

This year I found out that I really enjoy mystery so I picked out this jewel. It was easy to read and the story swallowed me. It even made me cry in the beginning, which is not easy to do. “You make a life out of what you have, not what you're missing.” This made me think about me, my life and constant search for something. The Forgotten garden gave me everything a book can give. I'll read other books by Kate Morton for sure.
