in the first half of this novel the story takes place around a group of young teenagers who reunite for a summer getaway. when they hangout there old issues come out and starts to effect the chemistry of the group a bit. reoccurring weird unexplained events and strange noises puts the characters in an uneasy setting. throughout the first 102 pages there has been many flashbacks showing characters childhoods and past traumas and struggles.

alex.aa the reason I used this cropped version of the book cover as my relevant photo is because of the cottage on the cover which has a deeper meaning. the cottage has a sense of nostalgia and eerie feel to it and the cottage is a major part of the first half of the novel because this is wear the story primarily takes place. If you like novels that show teenagers growing into independent adults and learning important life lessons while having a scaryfeel 1mo
alex.aa the point of view in \'Summer\'s End\' is first person. I know this because the author uses first person pronouns (ex: I,My.) the author does a great job at giving the reader access to the characters thoughts and feel there emotion more. 1mo
