This has to be one of my favorite books of all time by one of my favorite authors. Written by an expert in the field, Harari takes the reader down a journey from our beginnings to now. You will not want to put this down.

Wonderful book by presidential historian Jon Meacham. Cannot recommend this book enough.

This is a phenomenal book about the reconstruction era in our country and Jim Crow. Great pictures from the time period as well. Really immerses you in the struggle of minorities in this country during some of our darkest days.

Great reading on understanding the issues within the discussion on systemic racism.
