Love! I‘ve been trying horror as an adult recently and this was the perfect title for that. The religious trauma was so well done. The fears of someone who is queer and attends church/has a lot of faith were so similar to how I felt when I started my own journey to self discovery.

Seriously creepy and seriously amazing! Have recommended to others and they have also loved it.

Mehso-so

I read this for a book club. I liked a lot of it. I didn‘t like some of it.

Personal preference: I am not about twists just to have twists. Also, I like fall out. I wanted to have more at the end showing how things landed after the reveal.

I get why it‘s popular. The book club meeting had a lot of good conversation. But for me it was mid.

I wanted to love this book. The concept is interesting. It was pitched to me in a way that worked. I could not finish it. Personal preference: it didn‘t fit how it was pitched and it had scenes that threw me right out of the reading experience. This was not for me.
