One of my all time favorite memoirs. I‘ve taught this in creative writing courses—an exceedingly well crafted and engaging narrative.

I read this in grad school and also taught it at least three times! A fascinating examination of the human condition.

A perennial favorite of mine

One of the very best coming of age novels I‘ve ever read.

I use this book in my creative writing course. Great anthology and the instructional portions are well written.
