One of the very best coming of age novels I‘ve ever read.

This one was fun to discover! I have never encountered an Alicia in a book but Google led me to "Snatched" which looks like a pretty awful book TBH. Goodreads however led me to Towelhead for an author who starts with my name, which Roxane Gay gave 4 stars, so I think I will give it a try! #riotgrams #characterwithmyname #authorwithmyname

LeahBergen I liked Towelhead. 👍🏼 8y

When I read this book- it embarked the harsh realities of cultures, sex, taboo, and sexual abuse and exploitation.
