Hamlet | William Shakespeare
Pickpick

We had to read this for my English class, and I loved it! I particularly liked playing Ophelia ;). I never would‘ve expected such insane plots from this. I guess I learned never to underestimate a novel! Anyway, what a great one! Hamlet has some amazing lines, I‘ve noticed.
“My words fly up, my thoughts remain below. Words without thoughts never to heaven go.”

Be More Chill | Ned Vizzini
Pickpick

Very good! I love Vizzini‘s style and wit, and the interesting plot twist the story took. The Squips were something new and innovative, and while it was hilarious to read, it provided thought and had heart. I loved it, and I would recommend if you‘ve read Vizzini before, or if you like YA

A Wrinkle in Time | Madeleine L'Engle

Amazing!! I loved the entire plot, ALL of the characters, especially Charles Wallace, and I thought it was splendid. Definitely a classic! I‘m reading a Wind in the Door now, which I‘m hoping will be just as fulfilling. I think AWIT is going to be one of t top 5 favorites of all time!

Alex and Eliza: A Love Story | Melissa de la Cruz
Pickpick

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Hamilton the musical, so I had to read this book! I liked it , but I think it would‘ve been better if she added the trials they went through, such as him cheating on her with Maria Reynolds or their son Phillip tragically dying. I think highlighting that might‘ve made the love be brought about as stronger. Anyway, it was cute. I liked it. If you like romance and historical fiction sort of, this one is good. Very good novel!!!

What Light | Jay Asher
Mehso-so

In short, it was ok. I didn't think it was wonderful, but it was cute and Christmas-y. I couldn't relate to sierra, but maybe that's just me. I loved 13 Reasons Why, but this one didn't do it for me. But it wasn't bad.

Superb!! I adore John Green and his latest book is marvelous. It tells about Aza, who deals with mental illness. He doesn't dramatize/glorify/diminish the presence her mental health has on her and those close to her. A phenomenal book, I love it!

CathyJ I just finished this. Really like it! 6y

Amazing!! Such a great story to read for Halloween, and the twist -if you don't know it--is phenomenal. A classic, dark, and fantastic story!

Genuine Fraud | E. Lockhart

SPOILERS!!
Jule and Imogen are the centers of the story, and their relationship is intense to say the least. I thought it was weird that jule wanted to 'be' Imogen so fiercely. It was creepy but added to the story. I never would have expected jule to kill Imogen. Imogen was manipulative, used people, and wasn't always the best, but she didn't deserve to die. I didn't like her, but jule should not have killed her.

Oh my goodness!!! Such a great book! It's told in reverse, which took me a bit to get used to , but I liked it. I would describe it more as thriller than mystery, but it was still very well written and I enjoyed very much!! If you like E. Lockhart or thrillers or even if you like We Were Liars, this is a good pick. Wonderful!!! And a short read too, I read it in about 3 days.

I wanted to read this before I saw the movie, and so far so good!! Stephen King is definitely one of my favorite authors and an inspiration to me. Anyway, it seems great and I can't wait to finish it and see the movie!!!
