I've been reading this for a while. I couldn't tune in the book yet, the stories (at least the first two) have slow start unlike some short stories I've read, and the Indonesian translation doesn't feel much "flowing". It's also Eid week now so life has been hectic lately. Hope for better reading sessions in the coming days.
1. Tangerang, Indonesia
2. @bookriot featured it when it was launched, so I installed the app and made an account here. I didn't get into it back then, so I uninstalled the app. I reinstalled it recently because a lot of bookstagrammers seem to march to this app.
3. I recently watch Studio Ghibli's take on When Marnie was There.
4. I wanted one, but I guess 3 cats are enough for now 😅

9. self-employed artisan
10. yes, 3 cats
I was disappointed when I found that this short story collection suppose to have seven stories instead of only three, which this Indonesian translation print provides. Maybe the rest are too vulgar/explicit for Indonesian readers. The stories included in this collection are Nobody Will Laugh, Symposium and Let the Old Dead Make Room for the Young Dead.

I'm currently reading the Indonesian translation of this book. Unfortunately, it only contains three stories instead of the original seven. Could they be too explicit for Indonesian readers? 🤔
