Mehso-so

I've found commenting on everything tends to unravel my knowledge, yet reveals small strands.Turgenev has a way of describing the outdoors and indoors that is pleasant, and easier to appreciate when you're outside. I must comment on the delicious prose, which renders touching renditions to peasants no-one seems so familiar as Ivan Turgenev. Yet the narrator is so self-abasing, humorous and humble for how could one know everyone.

Pickpick

It was a pleasure to re-read this novel with its numerous levels of intricate plots.
The writing style was my cup of tea, especially plot-wise, Bulgakov heavily relied on absurdity and it was mind-blowing. The story itself was such fun and at the same time extremely challenging, the author would sometimes use the second-person narrative, and other times he would hide political undertones behind irrational humor.
